## Key Components of a Globalized Sensory Network

Building a globalized sensory network requires careful consideration of several key components:

1. **Sensor Devices:** The foundation of any sensory network consists of the sensors themselves. These devices collect data from the physical world and transmit it to a central processing unit. The selection of appropriate sensors depends on the specific application and the type of data being measured. Examples include temperature sensors, pressure sensors, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and image sensors.
2. **Connectivity:** Reliable and efficient communication is crucial for transmitting data from sensors to processing units. Common connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular networks (4G, 5G), LoRaWAN, and satellite communication. The choice of connectivity depends on factors such as range, bandwidth, power consumption, and cost.
3. **Edge Computing:** Processing data closer to the source, at the "edge" of the network, reduces latency, bandwidth requirements, and reliance on centralized cloud infrastructure. Edge computing devices, such as microcontrollers and single-board computers, can perform local data filtering, aggregation, and analysis.
