## What Exactly Are Biohacker Spaces?

Biohacker spaces, also known as community biolabs or open science labs, are collaborative environments where individuals with a passion for biology, technology, and innovation can come together to experiment, learn, and share knowledge. Think of them as makerspaces, but for biology. They provide access to equipment, resources, and expertise that would otherwise be unavailable to individuals outside of traditional academic or industrial settings. These spaces foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and open-source knowledge sharing, enabling anyone, regardless of their formal training, to explore the wonders of the biological world.
